What if I had an issue with my delivery?

Have an issue with your delivery? Please let us know, within 45 days of the delivery date represented in your tracking information, if you did not receive your merchandise, if you received the wrong merchandise or if you are missing merchandise. If you do not report this within 45 days, we will not be able to issue you a refund.

What is Macy’s return policy?

We are happy that Macy’s is your gift destination. We want you to love your gift or purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied we will gladly accept most returns by mail or in stores within 90 days of purchase for free. For the holiday season, Macy’s is extending our return acceptance timeframe. Effective on purchases starting October 5, 2021, most merchandise purchased at Macy’s or macys.com will be accepted for return until Jan. 31, 2022. Conditions to the 90-day policy are listed below*.

  • Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.
  • Items purchased in a store must be returned to a store.
  • Items purchased online can be returned by mail or to a store.

How long does it take for my store refund to be credited?

Once we receive your mailed return in store, we’ll process your credit immediately. If you’ve provided us with an email address, we’ll email you once your return has been received and your credit has been processed.

Note: Your credited refund may take a few days to reflect on your account, depending on your bank’s processing time.

I was not able to complete my Macy’s Credit Card verification. What should I do?

If you received an error message that said, “The information you entered does not match our records, please try again. For your protection, we cannot specify which field is incorrect. If you have already attempted to reenter your information and are still having difficulties, your account may be subject to 24-hour lock out,” then please check your Macy’s statement or card and make sure you enter your name exactly as it appears there.

Where can I check the credit limit or available credit for my Macy’s Credit Card online?

You’ll need to add your Macy’s Credit Card or your Macy’s American Express® Card to your macys.com profile to check your credit limit or available credit.
  1. Select “My Account” and log-in to your account with your email address and password.
  2. Select the “Credit Summary” link under “Macy’s Credit Card.”
  3. Your credit limit and available credit are located on the Credit homepage.
